Read 1 Thessalonians 3: 9-13
Because our hope is sure we can freely show our love for those we meet, both friend and foe, worthy and unworthy. Because we would be presented blameless when Christ comes, we engage the world in acts of love and justice.

Lord Jesus, we give you thanks for the communities in which we live. We do love them; help us to show that love in ways that reflect our gratitude and hope. Increase the size of our hearts so that none are left in the cold. Amen.
