Epiphany Week Return Home a Different Way

The sixth of January is the traditional feast of Epiphany on which many Christians celebrate the coming of the wise men, the offering of gifts, and the presentation of Christ to the nations.  Celebrating the new King, the king God brings to restore the whole world, reminds us why we took this journey.  The warning to return home a different way also reminds us that all the world has not yet come to worship the new King.  Take time this week as you return to your regular activities to determine how you have been changed by your journey and how you will work to bring the world to the knowledge of the God with us.

Thoughts on how we might engage the world who at times wishes to destroy God's anointed are a part of the last week's suggestions.  Continuing our times with God and with the world as God's people through the year may be the lasting effect of our journey.  www.saintb.org, Education, then Documents
