A Meal

Eating with someone can be a very intimate encounter. Fellowship around a meal can provide us with a way truly to know each other. Friends meet for lunch. Families tell of the day during their evening dinner. Celebrations of life and death, weddings and funerals, often include food accompanied by laughter and tears. The church remembers its Lord in the breaking of bread and the drinking of wine. Think of your mealtimes and let them remind you of who you are, who are those you know, and who Jesus is.
