It is Advent Week 2 and our journey has begun. This week we take some time to look around and see who it is that we travel with on our journey and who it is that we meet along the way. The joy of being with special people on a long journey often makes the journey worthwhile. The excitement of meeting new 'friends' and doing new things along our route warms our hearts and informs our minds. Sometime or maybe most times we also run into irritation with our traveling companions and find the 'new' ways strange and unpleasant. Both scenarios are a part of journeying. Take some time this week to observe, to absorb, and to learn from those you travel with and those you meet.
