The first week of Advent the magi ask us to figure out if we really want to go on a long, long trip to see the new born king of the Jews. Do we really desire to find the Christ? No one takes off on a trip without some reason for going. Often however we don't really think deeply about why we go. Sometimes that lack of reason leads to disappointment or loss of courage. Take some time this week to decide why you will journey to Christmas Day.
